Tashirat is a non-profit orphanage, school and spiritual learning center dedicated to the service of humanity. It was founded by Artimia Arian in 1994 in Tepoztlan, Mexico primarily as a Cosmic Learning Center and Ashram offering classes and a retreat for spiritual aspirants. In 2003 we decided that the greatest service we could provide would be to open an orphanage, providing abandoned and neglected children with a healthy home life and future. In 2008 we expanded our service work by opening the Ixaya School for the impoverished children of Santo Domingo and Tepoztlan, Mexico.
The Tashirat Orphanage and Ixaya School are our contribution to our small corner of the globe. but the greatest service we provide is teaching many others how to transform the quality of their lives. It is our dream to create a chain reaction, an ongoing ripple of deep healing, raised consciousness, connection and overall love in the world.
In Tashirat we teach the fundamental tools to strengthen and balance oneself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually in order to raise your vibration and connect to your Inner Teacher. It’s our belief that the best one can do in life is to become fully guided, realizing your extraordinary potential and then helping others to do the same.
Helping disabled children to strengthen their (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) bodies and to lead happy and healthy lives full of love.
Our vision is to continue our work and expand every year, constantly improving ourselves as individuals and as a team.
We are committed to constantly improving our service work through experience, training and a larger staff team – so we can help many, many disabled children to find a home and family for life and many adults to find their path back to health and happiness through service work, spirituality and positive living.
We are working to become fully ecological and self-sufficient – relying more on our own cultivation of fruits and vegetables, capturing and recycling all of our rain water and eventually being solar powered.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
