New School Video April 2009!!!

Here is a new video of some first and second grade children doing some outside arts and crafts and also a music class. Ixaya also had a professional soccer coach from Scotland visit for six weeks to give soccer classes to the kids!!!

We plan to post a few more videos and pictures before the end of the school year so keep an eye out!!

Ixaya School Fall 2008 Video

Here is the long awaited second video for the Ixaya School in Tepoztlan, Mexico. This video has clips from this Fall from our Halloween parties, which in Mexico is a completely different holiday and tradition called "The Day of the Dead" or in Spanish "Día de los Muertos", which is celebrated on November 1 and 2. We also had our first dance which was a costume dance that was held on Friday October 24th which went over great. All of the kids chipped in and helped to decorate for the dance and really had a great time.

More videos to come after the new year of all of the Christmas and holiday parties we will have at the school along with our holiday play that will happen on the 17th of December.
